Lee Donghae ~ Just A Dancer Chapter 15

'You ready?' Mi-Cha asked as we were changing our clothes. I nodded and re-did the choreography for the gazillionth time, just to make sure it would work out well tonight. We had changed our song last minute but if I was honest, it was better than our original routine.

''Knock!'' ''No, you knock!''

We heard two male voices and knew who it was. ''Baby..?'' Mi-Cha asked as she walked to the door, already wearing her outfit. I shuffled back some more and quickly put my belt around the shorts and put my jacket on. ''You ladies look stunning'' Sungmin said after he kissed Mi-Cha hello. We wore similar outfits yet different. I wore navy blue shorts with a dark red tanktop and a navy blue 3/4 sleeved jacket. I also wore tigh high socks with bright red AllStars. And to finish off I also wore the cap Donghae had given me. Mi-Cha wore denim shorts, that were slightly ripped, the same dark red tanktop and a sleeveless denim jacket. She wore knee high light red boots with short heels, making her appear a lot taller than me. We both had our hair down and I was busy brushing it. I had parted my bangs to side, starting the part above my right eye, and clipped them away. I knew Donghae wouldn't like that since he likes it when my bangs fall in my eyes. It gives him a reason to brush my face, he says.
''Where's our Fishy?'' Mi-Cha asked. ''He's busy preparing'' Hyukjae replied. I sighed sadly , I had kinda hoped he would come and wish me luck. ''However he will help out as a back-up dancer'' Sungmin said. ''Speaking about that, you sure you wanna do it baby?'' Mi-Cha asks worriedly. Sungmin, Hyukjae and Donghae had offered to help us during our performance. Hyukjae had given Mi-Cha some quick lessons in rapping, making sure she got her lines right. We had prepared a special choreography where sometimes we would dance together and at other moments only I would dance and Mi-Cha would focus on singing only.
''I am sure, don't worry'' Sungmin said, kissing Mi-Cha softly. ''Get a room!'' Hyukjae said acting extra grossed out. ''Are they always like that?'' he asked me as the couple continued kissing without a single care in the world. I nodded and then shrugged. Hyukjae snickered and pointed at the clock. I nodded and pulled Mi-Cha by the collar of her jacket. ''Yah! Hyorin!'' she exclaimed as she looked at me angrily. I stuck my tongue and continued to drag her to the stage. This was the moment. Now it was starting. It was going to happen.

We waited politely backstage and put our black capes on. ''Ladies, there has been a small change in order. A trio of boys will go first'' the organizer said to us as she checked her clipboard and looked at her watch constantly. ''Oh, okay'' Mi-Cha said as we stepped back. We walked back to our room, hoping that the boys would still be there. ''Psst. Beautiful!'' Someone hissed. We stopped walking and looked around. I rolled my eyes as I continued walking. I heard Mi-Cha chuckle and turned around again.
''Hello beautfiul'' someone whispered into my ear as a pair of arms hugged me from behind and lifted me off the ground. I kicked a little, knowing it was Donghae. He put me down and gave me a quick kiss on my cheek. ''Hey beautiful'' he said again, holding me close. I smiled at him and played with his hair. ''Why are your bangs clipped away?'' Donghae pouted, and removed the hairclips. He ruffled my hair and made the bangs fall partially in my face. I, in turn, ruffled his hair. ''Yah! Don't mess it up now!'' Donghae laughed as he gently pushed me away. I laughed at him and closed my cape a bit better.

''Why is your cheek so reddish?'' Donghae asked all of a sudden as he stroke my face. I looked away, avoiding all eye contact. ''Did someone hit you?'' Donghae asked seriously. He held my shoulders and shook me lightly. ''Answer me Hyorin! Did you get hit? And was it because of me?'' he asked, raising his voice. I started to tremble. I felt horrible. I wanted to tell him, but on the other side, if I told him what would he do? And maybe more importantly, how was I going to tell him if I decided to tell him? ''Hyorin!'' Donghae shouted. I flinched as he touched my cheek. ''How could I not notice before? Your beautiful face... Who did this?'' Donghae asked, lowering his voice to a whisper. ''A girl did'' Mi-Cha said. I turned back to her, to be honest, I had kinda forgotten she was there. ''Why?'' Donghae asked, pulling me against him. I was facing Mi-Cha with Donghae hugging me from behind. I shook my head into a no, Mi-Cha smiled apologetically. ''Because of you'' She said pointing at Donghae, ''They called her terrible things. But Hyorin still claimed you as hers proudly. She didn't hesitate to admit you two are seeing each other'' Mi-Cha added proudly. Donghae sighed first and then turned me around rather rough. I bit my lip because it slightly hurted. Donghae pushed me against the closest wall and pressed his lips hard against mine. I was shocked because of the roughness Donghae displayed. He pressed me harder against the wall, probably because of my lack of response.
Mi-Cha coughed loudly, but Donghae obviously didn't care as he continued kissing me. He opened his eyes and looked at me. I felt shivers run over my spine because of his look. He had an indescribable look to him. Not the sweet and cute look, he had a mature look. Getting lost in his eyes, I finally kissed him back. I closed my eyes and put my arms around his neck. Donghae smiled and pulled back a few minutes later. ''Saranghae'' was the first thing he said. I stared at him and kissed him again. He smiled and then said: "I felt so proud and relieved when I heard you aren't shy to admit I belong to you. I felt so happy I couldn't hold back. Sorry if I hurt you" He brushed my not bruised cheek and kissed the top of my head.
"When the talent show is over, I wanna talk with you. No, it's nothing bad, don't worry" he smiled as I looked at him confused. I nodded slowly, still feeling slightly confused. Donghae gave me a shy smile and then gave me another kiss. He put one hand in my neck and turned my head to another angle. I closed my eyes and just enjoyed the moment. Donghae let go off me slowly and winked at me. "Good luck with your performance! I love you" He said as he walked away. I sprinted after him, holding his hand. He smiled and I walked with him all the way untill he had to go on the stage. I made the fighting sign and blew Donghae a kiss. He acted as if he caught it and made a heart with his hands. He then walked on stage and I turned around.

"Are Sungmin and I like that? I mean rough kissing and all?" Mi-Cha asked as she was waiting for me. I nodded yes and waited for her reaction. She just nodded and said: "It sure looked weird. I mean, I never imagined you and Donghae like that" I rolled my eyes and walked with her to the hall. We were going to watch the boys perform, as part of the audience. ''Say, do you even know what they're going to sing?'' I shrugged slowly. Did Donghae give me any hints? I replayed all our conversations in my mind, looking for a missed clue. I shook my head into a no and Mi-Cha sighed. ''It's no fun'' she said bitterly, ''They know our song and we don't know theirs'' I nodded in agreement. We opened the door to the hall and sat down quickly. The boys were standing next to each other on the stage nervously, it was kinda cute.
''Well, we're going to sing Perfection. Simply because I have the epitome of perfection in my life: my sweet little perfect angel: Hyorin'' Donghae said, smiling widely as he scanned the crowd. I felt my cheeks heat up and covered them with my hands. ''You're so lucky!'' Mi-Cha exclaimed as she pulled me up.  We were both standing and Donghae winked at me as soon as our eyes locked. 'Saranghae' he mouthed as he handed the mic to Sungmin. ''Donghae, you make it sound like you're the only romantic among us. My lovely hyper-active lady somewhere in the crowd, you know you're the energy of my life right?'' Sungmin made a heart with his hands as he passed the mic on. While Hyukjae was talking I stared Donghae down. He was wearing ripped jeans, simple t-shirt and a male blazer. He looked incredibly good. I watched him shift his weight from one leg to another just because he was so nervous. He took some deep breaths and smiled widely. I smiled at him, hoping he would see in the already dark room. They started dancing and were perfectly synchronized, it was amazing. I suddenly felt my chances of winning this show decrease. But for some reason, I didn't really mind. When one of the boys sang, they would rotate, so that person would be standing in the middle, it all looked so professionally, it was really amazing. ''You know, we are very fortunate with these boys'' Mi-Cha whispered as the boys entered a small dance break. They threw off their jackets and continued dancing, most girls started cheering, Mi-Cha was drooling and I felt pain. Why? I don't know. It became worse when the guys pulled up their shirts at the end and smirked. Many girls started screaming, I mean, it is Sungmin, Hyukjae and Donghae we're talking about. But still, I didn't like it at al!
''Jealous, honey?'' Mi-Cha asked, poking me in my sides. I shook my head and watched the last part of the performance. ''Let's go surprise them in their locker room'' Mi-Cha said. I nodded and sneaked out with her. We waited backstage instead of the locker room because we were afraid to be late for our own performance. We practised our song again and put our capes on.

''SUNGMINNIIIIIIIIEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!'' Mi-Cha yelled as the door opened. She ran and jumped against Sungmin, who caught her. I watched the two of them and smiled. ''Hyorin~!'' Donghae said as he extended his hand. I walked over to him and gave him a hug. ''How was I?'' He asked nervously. I gave him the thumbs up and kissed his cheek. ''Okay, I am glad you liked it. The judges didn't say anything, so I am very very worried'' Donghae said. ''Don't worry, Donghae, I am sure you guys did great'' Mi-Cha said as she finally stood on her own feet again. ''Thank you Mi-Cha'' Donghae replied as he dried his face with a towel. ''Now it's your turn baby'' he said as he gave me a final kiss. ''We will join you guys later, maybe after the first chorus?'' Hyukjae said as Mi-Cha and I walked to the door. ''That's fine'' Mi-Cha said, ''As long as you guys are there for Hyorin's dance break'' ''I wouldn't wanna miss that'' Donghae said, smiling. I smiled back at him and pulled Mi-Cha's hand.

The stage was already dark as we got into our positions. I saw Mi-Cha's hand tremble a bit as she brough the mic to her face. I walked to her and put my hand on her shoulder. ''Neaga Jeil Jal Naga'' Mi-Cha sang nervously. Her voice cracked a little bit. I moved one step. She repeated this a few times and each time I moved only one step. ''Beat! Bam Ratatata Tatatata''  We threw of the capes and started dancing in sync together. We would dance together during the chorus and during the parts where Mi-Cha would need her breath she stopped dancing.
I felt a hand on my hip when the dance break came up. I didn't need to look around to know it was Donghae. I saw Hyukjae left from me and Donghae danced right from me. I did my best to keep up with them and danced as best as I could. Sungmin and Mi-Cha were having a simple dance routine and mainly watched us. In the end of the dance break, I pretended to push Donghae and Hyukjae away when Mi-Cha pushed Sungmin away as she sang: ''I am the best!''  The boys looked surprised and Mi-Cha and I joined each other on the middle of the stage. ''Neaga Jeil Jal Naga''  Mi-Cha sang as we shrugged. The music stopped and everyone started clapping for us. We took a few deep breaths and bowed to the audience. I locked eyes with the girl from before and waved sweetly. Mi-Cha bursted out laughing and smiled at me. Donghae noticed and took my hand and stuck his tongue out at the girl.
''I need to talk to you for a second, you go change and then we have a nice chat, okay?'' Donghae said as he gave me a kiss on my forehead. I nodded confused and went in. Donghae rummaged through his pockets and held onto the box-like thing. ''Today is the day'' he muttered as he walked away.

''WE DID IT!!!!!!'' Mi-Cha cheered as she hugged me tightly. I nodded and jumped with her. I changed into simple jeans and a dark red hoodie and walked outside again. Mi-Cha soon joined me after putting on a simple dress. ''Excuse me, miss Yoo?'' I turned around and saw a man, dressed very neatly. ''Miss Yoo, I presume?'' he asked me. I nodded and Mi-Cha held my hand.
''I need to speak to you, do you have a minute?''
